To celebrate Mongolia – a country that many veteran travelers consider the last true unspoiled wilderness in Asia – home to the largest unfenced grasslands in the world and a thriving nomadic Buddhist culture, it is our great pleasure to invite you to join this one time Founder’s Journey to celebrate thier 20th anniversary. You will explore Mongolia from the Golden Eagle Festival in the remote western mountains to the vast Gobi Desert. Some truly remarkable individuals will join us: Mr. Peter Matthiessen, acclaimed writer and a two-time National Book award winner; Mr. Victor Emanuel, a well-known naturalist, birder and founder of Victor Emanuel Nature Tours and Mr. Costas Christ, editor and columnist for National Geographic Traveler and one of the world’s leading experts on ecotourism. In addition to meeting rural nomadic headers, you will also meet Mongolia’s leading politicians, businessmen, Buddhist monks and social activists for a diverse perspective on Mongolia’s past, present and future. We look forward to traveling with you to this unique and wonderful country!
