On-site Bridal Boutique to feature signature wedding gowns and personal Romance Butler
BORA BORA, (October 2012) — The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort is partnering with one of Europe’s hottest young fashion sensations, Cecilie Melli to create a truly innovative wedding program for hotel guests. Melli is the Norwegian designer whose classic silhouettes, elegant, whimsical details and lovely color palettes have captured the attention of the international world of fashion. She has designed a selection of extraordinary, original wedding gowns, including the Lady Bora Bora that will be available for rent – or purchase – through the resort’s new Bridal Boutique, which features a resident Romance Butler to advise and assist in all planning and preparation for the perfect dream wedding.
Melli’s designs and the resort’s new wedding program will be a highlight in Beverly Hills on October 20 when the St. Regis Bora Bora Resorts auctions off a $250,000 wedding at The Carousel of Hope charity event presented by Mercedes-Benz, to be hosted by Jay Leno and honoring actor, producer, director and philanthropist George Clooney. The dream wedding includes 10 nights, in the Resort’selegant Royal Estate Villa, which spans over 13,000 square feet and is comprised of three separate pavilions that revolve around a private pool. The bride will slip into a Lady Bora Bora for the couple’s once-in-a-lifetime ceremony and reception. The experience will be captured by a photographer and the couple will be treated to a rehearsal dinner by the Resort’s signature restaurant, Lagoon Restaurant by Jean-Georges as well as all meals, and round trip tickets from Los Angeles to Tahiti sponsored by Air Tahiti Nui. Also included are airport transfers, water activities and five villas for five couples for five nights to share the memories with. A private wedding presentation will take place in New York following the charity event on October 23.

The St. Regis Bora Bora Bridal Boutique located by the signature restaurant, Lagoon by Jean-Georges, will be complete will all the wedding trimmings galore – including the signature dresses, luxe changing areas, dedicated hair and makeup area, interior photography area, an indoor and outdoor lounge area with signature food and beverage treats, wedding albums, and much, much more. Whether couples are planning a destination wedding (legal or symbolic), renewal of vows, a special proposal, or honeymoon vacation, no occasion is too small or large for the Romance Butler and Melli’s dresses. The rest of the bridal party, including groom, attendants and families also can be outfitted. With just one call to the resort, every property detail of a perfect wedding can be arranged.

Prices start at $550 for a rental of the signature wedding dresses, and will be available for order beginning December 2012.
