Ragged-tooth sharks in Sodwana

In the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, you head towards the Sodwana Bay to encounter with the raggies. They are known for their docile nature even if their appearance is fearsome. Raggies are found resting in caves and crevices, so are favourites among underwater photographer’s.

Sodwana Bay has warm water and vibrant coral reefs, providing an ideal setting to observe marine life. The best times to encounter with raggies is during their annula migration between November and March.
